We are pleased to announce that ToriCote, a non-profit organization based in Ichinomiya, has been entrusted by the Ichinomiya International Association to operate “Nihongo Hiroba Junior”, a support program for children with foreign backgrounds.
Through this project, we aim to create a welcoming environment where children can learn Japanese, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections within their local community.
What is “Japanese Language Hiroba Junior”?
“Japanese Language Hiroba Junior” is a Japanese language and academic support program for elementary and junior high school students who need assistance with Japanese.
For many years, the Ichinomiya International Association, together with dedicated volunteers, has supported foreign residents by providing opportunities to learn Japanese language and culture.
Participants come from a variety of countries, age groups, and language backgrounds. The program offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where each child can learn at their own pace while building relationships with others.
